This was a question that had indeed plagued her, on occasion. It was a little difficult not to think about such things, when others kept throwing up the ‘facts’ into a person’s face. ‘Reincarnation’ this, ‘destiny’ that – Things definitely became a little confusing when you’re suddenly sucked into a well and drawn into the past.

Sometimes, it definitely seems as if fate, or the kamis ( maybe even both ) decide these things before we’re even born.❞ After all, it couldn’t be some strange coincidence that Kagome just happened to be born into the family that cared for quite possibly the only magical well left in all of Japan that happened to double as a link to the Feudal Era – No coincidence that she could practically pass as a body double to Kikyo, or that she happened to meet Inuyasha. None of the things that had happened since her 15th birthday could convince her that the universe hadn’t conspired with whatever power was out there to bring all those events about; it was too not planned to not have been planned.
